Following the success of it's flagship site, The White Horse in Harpenden, The French Horn is nestled into the heart of Steppingley, nr Woburn which opened to an eagerly anticipated wait from Jean Christophe Novelli fans, locals and foodies alike in May 2008.

Set to prevail in the strong, active sense of community, ' a touch of Novelli' serves up high quality food in a variety of ways. From the seasonally changing a la carte menu in the 60-seater restaurant to a less formal bar offering that is available in the cosy snug, both partnered a large selection of draft beers and a strong international wine list. For all the local businesses and relaxed lunch diners, a value set lunch menu is available Tuesday through Friday lunch times. Two courses for just £14.95, with option to enjoy an additional dessert for just £5.00 makes the famous Jean Christophe Novelli cuisine accessible to all. For the traditionalists among you, a roast with all the trimmings is served each Sunday from 12.00 noon alongside favourites from the a la carte menu so there is something for everyone.

The new National Trust (NT) "Gateway Café" is the heart of the new Chilterns Gateway Centre on Dunstable Downs. It provides a spacious light and comfortable indoor seating area with glorious views across the Downs and the Vale of Aylesbury.
