Franklins of Thorncote Employee is a winner!

Franklins of Thornecote are celebrating one of its staff’s recent successes. At a ceremony to celebrate the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Bedfordshire Awards it was announced that Helen Williams had won the award for Employee of the Year. Helen who works on the Farmers Markets for Franklins was nominated by a fellow staff member. The judges’ commented “Helen clearly makes an important contribution and is a wonderful ambassador for their business” and “It appears we could all do with a person of this calibre in our team”

Damian Cummins, FSB project manager and awards co-ordinator said: “These awards showcase the finest business talent that our County has to offer and the range and the quality of the entries is testimony to the wealth of commercial and entrepreneurial talent across the county

Luton Hoo hosted the gala dinner where awards were given to honour the small businesses that had excelled against a range of measures and against the of the recession of 2009.

Franklin's of Thorncote is a family run business, which was established in 1987.  It supplies high quality free range poultry and game at local Farmer's Markets as well as from the farm shop at Thorncote Green.  They are licensed game dealers and members of the British Goose Producers Association
